I left Barry Comprehensive with 3 x B’s and 3 x C GCSEs. After enrolling in bricklaying at Barry Tech College to have a trade to fall back on whilst focussing on my Thai Boxing career. I qualified with an NVQ level 3 after a 3.5 year apprenticeship with Mowlem construction. Shortly after, I spent 11 months in Germany working as a general builder. In Dec 2000 I travelled to Australia traveling & working for 23 months, I then travelled to Tenerife, where I spent 1 year working in construction and entertainment. On my return I worked evenings and weekends in nightclub security whilst launching: Optimum Nutrition Wales (organic fruit & veg scheme). 8 Mile (open MIC nights). KES (Security, Training & Promotion agency) as well as a few more small startups. One of my passions in life is self development…I purchased my first ‘T-Robbins’ book and CD’s in Australia, these gave me a brand new perspective on life: I could create the person I wanted to be and design the life I wanted to live. My mother still lives on the same ‘tough’ council estate and in the same house that I lived in as a child, with many challenges that this negative environment provides I'm able to look back on my childhood fondly, yet appreciate that if I hadn’t developed my outlook as I did my life may have been radically different?

I was fortunate to consultant with Ten Motives & CIRRO (2014 -2016). Part of a creative team that promoted and sold into 8,500 Tesco, Sainsbury, Co-op, Asda stores as well as convenience chains as well as 8 company-owned stores. Launching these specialist V-Stores was a particular favourite for me as it allowed me to champion smoking cessation via physical and digital promotion & sales, elements I’m passionate about!
After Ten Motives sold to BAT in 2016, I continued my support for the vape industry, transferring to LUMO E-liquids wholesale division, working closely with vape owner operators facilitating branded and white-label solutions.
Early 2017, I left to fly solo, creating Power 2 Vape (buying group) & Ecig Amnesty (Smoking Cessation) using a promotional vehicle to launch and promote several successful brands. Power 2 Upgrade (Vape - CBD - Hemp) Dispensary opened its doors in 2019 this was the frontrunner for UPGRADE Cent R.
These start ups have provided me with many skills and rich experiences, I consider myself to be a seasoned sales & marketing professional that has now supported multiple brands and platforms with tools needed to secure new business and optimise existing accounts.
From April 2024, I will have accrued 10 years experience within the Vape & CBD industry focused on cultivating bold and innovative concepts, taking them to market with a steadfast faith in the limitless potential of collaboration. I’m a skilled FMCG salesman. I excel in refining sales and marketing tactics, conducting thorough prospecting and driving successful deals whilst building mutually beneficial partnerships.

however I must be objective and appreciate that if only I had built my own brands, if only I had opened my physical dispensary sooner, if only I had not tried to go online with a platform that is optimised for a face to face educational service based set up…the list can go on and hindsight is a wonderful thing!
